With over 100 years of combined experience, Davron designs and manufacturer’s specialty ovens in virtually any combination of width, height, and depth. Specialty oven configurations include: double tier conveyor ovens, spiral ovens, shuttle ovens, vertical ovens, drawer ovens, heated hoppers and much more.

Specialty ovens feature structural steel frames internal to the insulated walls of the oven and seal welded interiors. This construction method provides an oven of undisputed quality that is energy efficient and extremely robust that offers temperature ranges up to 1,400ᴼF.

Featureset

Features can be customized depending on your needs. The airflow within the heated chamber can be designed with a recirculating horizontal cross-flow, vertical top-down or bottom-up, or a combination airflow pattern. Our specialty ovens can include various heating methods such as: electric, gas, infrared, radiant, or a combination of these. Our specialty ovens can include multiple zones of temperature control within the heated chamber and dedicated cooling zones utilizing ambient air or a refrigerant.

Our ovens are designed to solve the unique requirements of your process. We can accommodate out of the ordinary floor designs, airflow distribution systems, doors, conveying systems, product carts/racks, and overall oven arrangement.

The control scheme for our specialty ovens can be as unique as the oven arrangement. These ovens can utilize a  simple temperature control system or a PLC control system including: network monitoring, data logging, alarm system, and much more.

Build of Materials

Each specialty oven manufactured by Davron can include, but is not limited to, the following:

  • Welded structural steel framework for overall support 
  • Heavy gauge aluminized or stainless steel interior sheeting and air distribution systems
  • Heavy gauge paint grip exterior sheeting primed and painted with high temperature oven class paint
  • Our construction technique provides a finished product that can be handled as a single piece or in bolt together modules on large systems for ease of installation
  • Our ovens are not constructed of “tongue and groove” panels
  • Hinged access doors are provided for maintenance and cleaning access along the length of the equipment
  • A combination of accurate temperature control, temperature uniformity within the heated chamber, and conveyor speed provide the high level of control required for a successful thermal process
  • Simple digital controls for basic operation or PLC controls for complex requirements. Systems can also communicate with plant networks if required
  • Electrical enclosure is assembled in accordance with UL508A guidelines and has a UL508A label
  • All ovens meet NFPA, OSHA, and NEC requirements
  • CE certification is available if required
