DESCRIPTION
The DTI-786 specialized oven system is used to cure molded composite products. The chamber is horizontal in orientation, and utilizes a hot oil system to heat the oven chamber. The hot oil is circulated through a piping network inside the heated chamber. The product mold is located above the heated piping. The door is powered by an electric motor and gear reducer and includes appropriate safety features to protect the operators.
CUSTOM OVEN MOLDING PROCESS
The composite product is poured into the part mold in liquid form and is cured in the chamber until is becomes rigid and is removed from the mold. The unique door design provides a method for the door to open from a horizontal position to a vertical position. This type door does not interfere with overhead equipment associated with the pouring operation and uses a minimum of plant floor space.
