Customer directive

The customer extrudes a continuous web of material and the purpose of this system is to crosslink the material web composition by thermal processing. Upon completion of the crosslink process the material is cooled and conversion equipment included in the system completes the remaining processes.

Description

The DTI-1308 system provides a combination of radiant heat followed by forced convection from both above and below the product web. This controlled thermal process provides the required heating cycle to crosslink the material.

An additional system applies a protective layer of film on top of the web that is removed after the crosslink process is completed.

The product web is then cooled with forced-air cooling and edges are trimmed and crosscut as required to complete the process.

All machine functions are controlled from the two operator HMI (touch screen) terminals located at each end of the equipment.

The entire system is fully assembled and factory tested for operational verification prior to shipment.
