DESCRIPTION
The DTI-1138 industrial oven is a thermoforming solution that preheats interior components used in the automotive industry. Product can be loaded on the oven conveying system with an automated pick and place system or manually by operators. One product is conveyed through the upper level of the oven and heated by forced air convection.
Another product is shuttled in and out of the lower level of the oven and heated by infrared panels. The infrared panels are arranged in individual zones of control to allow for variations of heating across the entire surface of the carpet. After the preheating process is complete, both products exit the two levels of the oven simultaneously. They are then matched together to form a completed preheated vehicle set ready to be press formed as a single unit. The cycle times can be varied and can be as short as 30 seconds.
