DTI-1086 Batch Curing Oven
DESCRIPTION
The DTI-1086 Batch Curing Oven serves a dual purpose. It is used for both curing and performing reliability test on polypropylene windings. These windings are used in the manufacturing of Film Capacitors. The oven has an extremely tight temperature tolerance for the reliability testing which is a 120 day test. For the testing, the operating temperature of the oven is 257°F +/- 1.8°F. The product load is 700 pounds per batch and product is loaded in the oven on custom product carts that were provided with the oven. Airflow within the heated chamber is a horizontal cross flow and the oven heat source is a single electric heater controlled by SCR.
