Davron is proud to share our latest heat forming oven created specifically to perform thermoforming for a honeycomb composite material. Our customer had specific space limitations that impacted the design and led to a vertical door with hinges at the top and center. This design created a folding affect which yielded vertical door operation without intrusion on the limited headroom space.
The oven was intentionally designed to provide a vertical up airflow in order to heat the customer’s product. As such, there is a pressure drop through the product that provides an efficient heating process while also enabling an easy loading and unloading process through a powered cart to support the product.
