The DTI-762 curing conveyor type oven cures automotive disc brake pads. This system is designed to work in conjunction with manual presses. Parts are press formed and placed in four baskets across the width of the conveyor belt. Based on index time, the conveyor oven indexes a row of baskets through the cure chamber.



The chamber is divided into four heated zones to ramp and soak the product at different temperatures, creating the required cure profile. Vertical doors separate the heated zones, opening and closing during each index motion. A cooling zone is included at the end of the system prior to exit. This system replaced multiple batch ovens and greatly reduced the required handling, floor space, and required cure time for products.
