Our customer wanted to create an indexing single part flow inert atmosphere production furnace system to match, and seamlessly integrate into, the customer’s entire existing manufacturing process at a production rate of 45 seconds part to part. The customer’s then existing process included inefficient batch furnace staging of parts at this point in the process.


Description

The DTI-225 industrial oven dries adhesive on brake pads. This custom industrial oven gives the customer the ability to save floor space by curing the product in a spiral arrangement versus a horizontal conveyor oven. The product enters the industrial oven chamber at the lower right hand corner, travels through the oven making eight revolutions around the interior drum, and then exits from the heated chamber at the upper left hand portion of the oven.
