Description

A dual-roll carpet station supplies carpet material to a pull-to-length cutting system that feeds the infrared oven. A dual-stack barrier material station supplies acoustic material to a pick-and-place system, which loads the convection oven. After both materials are heated to the required process temperature, they are merged together and transferred by a robot into a hydraulic forming press. Once the forming cycle is complete, the robot removes the finished part from the press and places it onto a takeaway conveyor for transfer to the customer’s next manufacturing process.
