Customer directive

Design and manufacture (4) identical batch curing ovens capable of processing honeycomb composite materials used in aerospace applications. The systems provided uniform horizontal airflow, accommodate varying product sizes, and deliver consistent curing performance while supporting increased production capacity.

Description

DTI-1487C consists of four identical natural gas-fired batch curing ovens designed to process honeycomb composite materials. Each oven utilizes a horizontal side-to-side air distribution system that delivers uniform airflow across the product load, promoting consistent temperature distribution and repeatable curing results. Independent recirculation systems, heating systems, and PLC controls allow each oven to operate separately, providing production flexibility while maximizing system uptime. The four-oven configuration enables multiple curing cycles to be processed simultaneously, increasing throughput while allowing maintenance or production changes on one oven without interrupting the remaining systems.
