Customer directive

The customer utilized a specific product pallet throughout their manufacturing process. It was important that Davron could build an oven system around the pallet design in order to eliminate any inefficiencies caused by loading and unloading product. The equipment needed to process twenty-four (24) pallets in a continuous manner, while utilizing the smallest footprint possible.

Description

The pallets are loaded manually onto the oven conveyor at typical operator working height. The vertical conveyor indexes upwards every 2.5 minutes through 24 positions inside of the oven, resulting in a total time in the heated chamber of 1 hour. When the pallet reaches the upper-most position of the conveying system, it is pushed out via a pneumatically actuated arm onto an elevator. The elevator allows the heated product to be lowered back to typical operator working height in order to be unloaded from the equipment.

The oven has many safety features that include the following: conveyor cannot index if the loading area is not clear or if the pusher arm in the top of the chamber is not out of the way, elevator cannot be lowered if the unload area is not clear.
