DESCRIPTION

These type conveyors utilize different types of belting material depending upon the application for the particular conveyor. The horizontal oriented conveyors typically use smooth surface belts and incline and decline conveyors utilize rough surface belts to prevent the foam web from slipping on the belt. These type conveyors are powered by gear reducers with the motors controlled by variable frequency drives to allow communication and speed coordination with the entire process line. At Davron we design and manufacture these conveyors sized as required for the particular application. Specialized designs can be created to utilize multiple conveyors to transition web products to and from machines or change web direction during manufacturing. The conveyors include automatic belt tensioning systems as well as automatic belt tracking systems. We design and fabricate the conveyor beds and support structures for the particular application. These type conveyors can also include special features for cooling, product measurement, and can be cover to prevent any airborne debris from settling on the product.

CONVEYOR TYPES

Horizontal Conveyors: Horizontal conveyors are belted conveyors used to transport web foam products between process machines.

Cooling Conveyors: Cooling conveyor configuration can vary but are used to allow the foam to cool. The actual cooling can be ambient air cooling or the system can include an air distribution system to force cool the product with ambient air.

Incline/Decline Conveyors: These type conveyors are utilized to transport the foam web vertically at a particular angle to transfer the web to different elevations. In most cases this would be an application were different pieces of the process equipment are located on different floor levels within the plant facility.
