DTI-1160 Indexing Conveyor Oven
Description
The DTI-1160 indexing conveyor oven is used to temper alloy steel rods after a chroming process. The rods are used in the manufacturing of automotive suspension systems. The rods are loaded vertically, by robots, into custom trays that make up the conveying system. Each tray processes 42 rods and the trays index through the heated chamber based on timed increments. After the tempering process is complete the rods are indexed through a cooling zone that utilizes ambient plant air.
