DTI-1523 Paint Brush Coater
Customer directive
Davron was tasked with partnering with the customer to develop a multiple inline brush coating system to apply specialized paint to the top and sides of the building materials product. After the brush coating is applied, the product travels through a series of rotary brushes to apply an aesthetic appearance different than any of the customer’s current product.
Description
Two separate booths are positioned in line with existing conveyance, to allow the product to travel through in the length direction. The equipment utilizes a recirculating paint and nozzle spray system to apply paint to the products vertical edges and horizontal top surface. Product is supported from below as motorized brushes spread paint along the length of the product. All nozzles, brushes and paint flow functions are manually adjustable. The stainless booths are mobile and built to full washdown duty levels. They can be disconnected from power, paint and compressed air and moved to a wash down area for cleaning.
