DTI-665 Heating Batch Oven
This batch oven heats steel molds, and is designed to hold an interior shelf system accommodating up to 36 steel molds. Molds are arranged in the batch oven in an array of six (6) deep and six (6) high. The racks are sloped toward the door of the batch oven, and include stops to keep the molds from rolling. The rack is a separate from the batch oven and can be removed from the oven if required for future process changes. Each mold weighs approximately 2,400 pounds; the total product load per batch is 86,400 pounds.
Batch Oven Temperature Control
Molds are loaded in the batch oven by a fork truck, and in twelve (12) hours are heated from 40 °F to 400 °F. The batch oven is set at an operating temperature of 600 °F in order to achieve the desired heating curve. The batch oven includes four (4) digital indicating temperature monitors to monitor temperature in the chamber.
