DTI-244 Incline Drying Conveyor Oven

This conveyor oven dries scrap magnesium prior to introduction into a melting furnace. An exhaust system removes and replaces moisture laden air during the process. The system conveys shredded pieces up the heated incline conveyor. The drying oven's heated chamber is divided into two independent zones of temperature control. Airflow within the drying oven is vertical down to the product on the conveyor.

Conveyor Oven Construction Features

The entire body of the conveyor oven is set on a structural steel I-beam support frame at approximately 30 degrees of incline. The conveyor extends beyond the chamber on each end for loading and unloading. A maintenance access platform and ladder system is included to provide access to the heated chamber. A capture chute is included at the entrance end of the conveyor to contain the product on the oven belt.
