FEATURES

BATCH OVEN CONSTRUCTION FEATURES

The batch oven contains two (2) independently controlled heated chambers in one (1) oven body. The interior of the batch oven is constructed of 16ga 304 #8 500 grit mirror stainless steel, and the exterior is constructed of 16ga 304 #4 180 grit sanitary finished stainless steel. Each corner of the batch oven is radius and polished smooth. All the interior seams that make up the batch oven chamber walls, roof, and floor are seal welded and polished smooth to minimize particle collection from the process, allowing easy access for cleaning and maintenance.  Plenums and diverters within the chamber are seal welded at their seams; all seams are polished smooth. The batch oven floor is sloped toward the door so that the water can be easily removed after cleaning, which is done after each cycle.  Each chamber utilizes one (1) circulation fan, one (1) variable position exhaust damper, one (1) blower for make-up air, and one (1) electric heater.  There are sixteen (16) thermocouples mounted within the two (2) batch oven chambers, eight (8) per chamber. Temperature can be monitored but not controlled at these sixteen (16) points. A cooling coil is mounted in the return air path and each chamber utilizes a HEPA filter.  The chamber pressure is controlled between -4″ w.c. to +2″ w.c.
