DTI-1058 Batch Drying Oven

DESCRIPTION

The DTI-1058 batch oven dries copper windings in large electrical transformers.  The size of the part being processed in the oven is approximately 15′-6″ L x 9′-5″ W x 10′-3″ H.  The part can weigh up to 60,000 pounds.  This drying oven utilizes floor tracks, part of the plant floor, for loading and unloading the product cart.  The oven utilizes a timer to allow for a 24 hour drying process if required.  The airflow within the heated chamber is a combination pattern.  Heated air is supplied to the chamber from both side walls and returned to the circulation fan through the ceiling of the oven.

BATCH DRYING OVEN CONSTRUCTION FEATURES

This batch drying oven is constructed with a structural steel framework that supports the entire oven.  The oven utilizes one (1) set of horizontal swing full opening doors located on each end of the oven.  The batch oven interior is constructed of aluminized steel, and the exterior is carbon steel painted with high temperature paint.  The oven includes a burner box located on top of the oven.  This burner box includes the burner and two (2) circulation fans.  The oven is built in 8 sections to allow for shipping.
